document.write( 'Hamble River Sailing Club has a long history of supporting team racing. 20 years ago, the club was instrumental in setting up the annual Sigma team racing event, which has developed into an International event with teams from the New York YC and various other Newport clubs coming over to race against us.' );

document.write( '<br />With the acquisition of the Firefly fleet, the club now has a marvellous facility to both extend the skills of our established team racers and teach our up and coming youngsters this exciting branch of our sport. Each winter we run a team racing programme which  compliments the summer use of the boats as a youth trainer.' );
